The Crush strength test machine is designed as a robust, easy to-use instrument. Exactly what you need when performing crush tests. It is used to conduct Edge Crush test(ECT), Ring Crush Test(RCT), Flat Crush Test(FCT), Pin Adhesive Strength Test(PAT) for paper and paperboard or corrugated board, and flat crush strength (CMT) & CCT (vertical crush strength) of lab corrugating medium. The accuracy is achieved with a precision load cell, which is even accurate at low force values.

Main Accessories

It is used to conduct Edge Crush test(ECT), Ring Crush Test(RCT), Flat Crush Test(FCT), Pin Adhesive Strength Test(PAT) for paper and paperboard or corrugated board.

ECT – Edge Crush Test

ECT – Edge Crush Test. A sample of corrugated board is subjected to increasing force, Parallel to the flutes until it breaks. The ECT value is expressed as the breaking force is divided by the sample’s width.

RCT – Ring Crush Test

RCT –Ring Crush Test. to a certain size in the sample (corrugated paper)within a circular formation, between the upper and lower clamp pressure, can bear the most energetically before the sample is crushing.

PAT – Pin Adhesion Test

PAT – Pin Adhesion Test. Adhesion resistance is the maximum force required to separate the linerboard from the fluting with the help of a special sample holder.

FCT – Flat Crush Test

FCT – Flat Crush Test. A sample of corrugated board is subjected to increasing force, applied perpendicular to the surface of the board, until the fluting breaks. The FCT value is expressed as the force divided by the samples surface area.
