Xenon Arc Light Fastness Tester is specifically designed for light colour fastness testing on textiles, leather and other materials after being exposed to the simulated conditions of nature weather (daylight, rain, temperature and humidity, etc.)
The xenon arc test chamber can test a range of standards test methods, including ISO105-B02 / B04, AATCC 16, etc.
APPLICATIONS AND STANDARDS
Our Xenon Arc Light Fastness Tester is designed to meet the requirements of ISO 105 B02/B04 and AATCC Test Method 16 standards. It has a rotating specimen rack and provides precise control of critical test parameters including spectrum, irradiance, relative humidity, chamber temperature and black standard temperature.
To determine the resistance of the color of textiles to fade when exposed to artificial light (xenon arc) which is representative of natural daylight.
Standard: A Standard can be selected from a pre-programmed list or the user can define their own method.

This test method provides the general principles and procedures which are currently in use for determining the colorfastness to light of textile materials.

This test method provides the procedure for the exposure of textile materials of all kinds, including coated fabrics and products made thereof, in an artificial weathering apparatus using controlled conditions of test.

This standard specifies a method to determine the color fastness of various types of textiles to the artificial light effect equivalent to sunlight (D65). This standard can also be used for white (bleached or fluorescent whitened) textiles.
Feature
Xenon lamp ventilation and cooling device: The temperature ventilation and cooling system of chamber is cooled by Taiwan's high temperature resistant turbine fan, and the cooling system in the box is cooled.
Light box temperature alarm device: The temperature in the light box can be monitored by PT100 high-precision sensor to monitor the over-temperature alarm and cut off the power of the xenon lamp.
The blackboard thermometer adopts wired transmission technology, which effectively improves the control accuracy. (using high temperature resistant isolation shielded communication line)
Optical fiber transmission is used to measure the radiation intensity of the xenon lamp to avoid the problem of measurement error caused by temperature. (Optional accessories)
BPT(black panel thermometer) or BST (black standard thermometer) is installed on the sample holder.
Device: In order to record the working time of each test, the equipment is equipped with a timer on the operation panel, which can control the time of the equipment, and the equipment will automatically shut down after the timing ends.
Protection device: In order to make the xenon arc lamp work normally without damage, the xenon lamp will automatically go out when the door is opened, and the whole machine will stop working.
