Digital Brinell Hardness Tester

Brinell hardness tester: Brinell hardness is a standard for indicating the hardness of materials. Brinell hardness (HB) is measured by applying a test load of a certain magnitude, pressing a hardened steel ball or hard alloy ball of a certain diameter into the surface of the metal to be tested, maintaining it for a specified period of time, then unloading it, and measuring the diameter of the indentation on the surface of the metal to be tested. The Brinell hardness measurement method is applicable to cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, and various annealed and tempered steels. It is not suitable for testing samples or workpieces that are too hard, too small, too thin, or whose surfaces do not allow large indentations.

The digital display Brinell hardness tester features a software system that adopts computer intelligent programming and uses photoelectric sensing technology. By independently selecting test conditions, the LCD display can show the test method, upper and lower limit range, measurement indentation length, hardness value, conversion value, test force, holding time, and measurement times. It can also input year, month, date, test results, and data processing, etc.
