Haida Instruments at ISTA China 2026: Supporting Safer Transport Packaging Through Testing

The ISTA China 2026 Annual Conference was held at the Hilton Shanghai Fengxian on September 16–17, 2026. As an official member of ISTA, Haida Instruments attended the conference to showcase equipment solutions for testing to ISTA standards, deliver a technical presentation, and discuss opportunities for collaboration with industry peers.
At its booth, Haida Instruments displayed a range of core equipment for drop, compression, shock, environmental conditioning, and vibration tests covered by ISTA test standards. The display demonstrated Haida’s ability to provide one-stop testing solutions for simulating the conditions that packaged products encounter during transport.
During the conference forum, we also delivered a presentation titled Data-Driven Insights and Smart Protection: A New Era of Global Packaging and Transport Guided by ISTA Standards.
The presentation traced the industry’s shift from protection to sensing and highlighted the role of ISTA standards as a technical foundation for global packaging and transport. It explained the importance of building a database of test data for global transport routes and proposed that the future of packaging and transport would combine Internet of Things (IoT) technology with intelligent monitoring. Concluding with a vision for industry collaboration within the ISTA community, the presentation outlined how transport packaging could evolve in an increasingly digital and intelligent world.
