Test Project 3N covers the testing of unitized loads, made up of either single or multiple products or packages of similar products prepared for shipment via a Full Truckload (FTL) delivery system carrier within Europe.

Highlight of ISTA 3N
- A test procedure specifically designed for similar packaged products in unitized loads for full-truckload shipments within Europe.
- Based on vibration data measured and collected from European truck simulations on actual European road conditions, using a Power Spectral Density (PSD) of 0.296 Grms to align with current industry testing standards.
- Unified compression calculation: standardizes the calculation method to better reflect actual stacking conditions in real-world logistics.
- Optional top-load pressure test with pallet: adds a real-world logistics condition. Actual impact: The test scenario more closely simulates actual transport environments (e.g., pallet contact during warehouse stacking), enabling early detection of potential package damage risks caused by pallet pressure, thereby reducing in-transit damage rates.
- Optional load stability test added: simulates horizontal stacked samples under dynamic impact to evaluate the stability of the load.
